Terms

Terms of use

Last updated 14 August 2026. These terms apply to the Return website and the Return iPhone and Apple Watch app, including the public TestFlight beta.

Independence

Return is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced by any religious organization.

The app

Return is a local-first ministry notes app. There is no Return account. Core records stay on the publisher’s device. Optional private iCloud sync, if enabled through Return Supporter, uses the publisher’s own iCloud account.

Your notes

You are responsible for what you write and for keeping a copy you trust. Return does not claim that notes cannot be lost. Export remains available for every record you wrote. You may anonymize or erase your own records.

Public beta

The TestFlight beta is pre-release software. Features may change, and a build may be withdrawn. The beta is free. It is not the App Store release. You can leave from the TestFlight app at any time. The website never sends visitors to an internal TestFlight build.

Purchases

Return Supporter is an optional annual subscription sold through Apple. Apple’s terms and billing apply to that purchase. Supporter never gates access to records you already wrote on a device.

Acceptable use

Use Return only for your own ministry notes and only in ways that are lawful. Do not attempt to misuse the app, the website, or another person’s records.

Disclaimer

Return is provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for lost notes, interrupted sync, or damages arising from use of a pre-release build.

Changes

These terms may change when the product changes. The date above is the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
